Fairfax R-3 School musicians participated in the District Solo/Ensemble Contest April 1, 2023, at Central High School in St. Joseph. The musicians are directed by Debra Wyatt.

Amelia Larson received a I rating and will be traveling to State in Columbia this week.

Vocal solos receiving II ratings were Payton Woodring and Kierra McDonald. The Mixed Woodwinds Quartet (Amelia Larson, Lexi Brown, Chloe Vernon, and Cowen O’Riley) also received a II rating. The Brass Trio (Trent Kingery, KayDee Duering, Kendall Kingery) received a III rating.
