East Atchison Varsity Wolves seized the victory in their first Class 2, District 16 play-off game in dramatic fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple King City/Union Star. The game was tied at four with the Wolves batting in the bottom of the seventh when Owen DeRosier singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run.
Cameron Oswald led things off on the mound for East Atchison going three innings, allowing two runs on two hits and striking out one. Tate Johnson, Luke Morey, Oswald, DeRosier, Alex Erickson, and Blake Simmons each contributed one hit to lead EA.
