East Atchison’s River Dow placed 10th in the state golf meet with an overall total of 163.

Rock Port’s Aricin Weber placed 36th in the state golf meet with an overall total of 182.

Blue Jay golfer Tayden Cook placed 37th in the state golf meet with an overall total of 183.

Blue Jay golfer Carter Gebhards placed 40th in the state golf meet with an overall total of 185.

The Class 1 Missouri State High School Athletic Association Golf Tournament was held Monday and Tuesday, May 15 and 16, 2023, at the Country Club of Missouri in Columbia. All four golfers from Atchison County finished in the top 40.

East Atchison’s River Dow placed 10th in the meet. He shot an 85 the first day and a 78 the second for an overall total of 163.

Results for the Rock Port golfers are as follows:

Aricin Weber shot a 93 the first day and an 89 the second day for an overall total of 182. He finished in 36th place.

Tayden Cook finished the meet in a tie for 37th place. He shot an 87 the first day and a 96 the second for an overall total of 183.

Carter Gebhards finished in a three-way tie for 40th place. He shot a 97 the first day and an 88 the second day for an overall total of 185.
