The Fairfax Girl Scouts plant flowers in front of the Christian Church every year as a thank you for the church allowing them to meet there. This year they planted petunias, lantana, and rose moss. Ellee, Ryann, Paisleigh, Alyce, PhaeLynn, Caroline and Adamae had fun playing in the dirt and Adamae warmed up to the toad who wanted to help dig. The girls are looking forward to one last hoorah for the year at their sleepover and bridging in June. They and their fellow scouts, Wendy, Jo, Lucy, Addy, Mikayla, Mackenzie, Delaney, Kaylee, Ava, and Zailynn, will meet their new co-leader, who will be training to take Ms. Sam’s spot after 20 years of Girl Scouts.
