Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax, Missouri, Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: grape juice (64 oz.), complete pancake mix, syrup (64 oz.), creamy peanut butter (16 oz.), Hamburger Helper, Tuna Helper, Chicken Helper, pork and beans, chili style beans, and frozen pizzas.

Monetary donations are also appreciated as the money allows the shelves to be stocked with the items that are low. Donations intended for the local food pantry need to be given directly to the pantry. For after hours donations, call 816-261-2672.

The food pantry is located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio.

The pantry will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 15, 20, 22, and 27, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. It will also be open Tuesday, June 20, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Fairfax Presbyterian Church will open the pantry in June.

Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Food Pantry is low on the following items: vegetable soup, boxed potatoes, complete pancake mix, sugar, cooking oil, beef stew, cereal, jelly, and laundry soap.

Items can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp. The food pantry is located in the fellowship hall. The food pantry will be open Friday, June 9, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, June 20, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, June 23, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
