Before the 2022-23 school year ended, Fairfax High School students Kendal Straub, Trenton Kingery, and Braden Graves, with the help of Garrett Vernon, painted railroad ties and had big white rocks delivered. They then created a giant F on the hillside along Hwy. 59 in Fairfax in front of Fairfax High School.

Members of the Fairfax Student Council also helped with the project. They include: Bryon Ohlenselen, Lataveon Brown, Cowen O’Riley, Ty Kirkland, Mason Kingery, Amelia Larson, and Chloe Vernon.
