It’s reunion time again for the now-closed Southeast Nebraska Consolidated School. Organizers have announced that another all-school reunion will be held in September to recognize all graduates.

The event will be held Saturday, September 16, at Still Centerfield in Shubert, Nebraska. A social hour will be from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. when the dinner will be served. The dinner will be catered by one of Southeast’s graduates, Jana (Geyer) Wheeler (1975), and her staff from Wooden Spoon Catering.

The classes of 1968, 1973, 1978, 1983, and 1988 will receive special recognition.

The cost for the event will be $15 which includes beef burgers or pulled pork, chips, salad, baked beans, and cookies.

In addition, the ever popular “Once a Mustang, Always a Mustang” red t-shirt will be available. Pre-orders are highly recommended as only a few extra will be made.

Event organizers Vicki (Hall) Beilke (1968), Dennis Williams (1971), Rick Ramer (1974), Paula (Huey) Hays (1975), Amy (Lewis) Hector (1977), Sondra (Stanley) Westenburg (1979), Christy (Vice) Bergland (1977), and Ted L. Harshbarger (1974) are finalizing other plans for a great time.

All graduates, faculty, staff, and any attendees are welcome to attend. Reservations are accepted by contacting Harshbarger at ted.harshbarger@gmail.com or by phone at 402-862-2667 or 402-862-5709 (cell). Pre-payment is required by making the check to Southeast PFK and can be mailed to Harshbarger at 71909 637 Ave, Humboldt, NE 68376-7045. Deadline for reservations and t-shirts is September 1. If anyone plans to come after the registration deadline has passed, the cost will go to $20.
