Ronnie Gene Eagans, the son of Ermine and Dorothy Jewell (Driskell) Eagans, was born on September 10, 1953, in West Plains, Missouri. He attended West Plains and Tarkio High School, Tarkio, Missouri. On September 27, 1971, Ronnie entered the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany, receiving his honorable discharge on August 31, 1973.

On September 26, 1973, Ronnie was united in marriage to Marsha Elaine Stanford. They became the parents of three children, twin sons, Ronnie Gene, Jr. and Tommie Lee, and daughter, Staci Lee. They later divorced.

Ronnie was employed by Southeast Ready Mix, Auburn, Nebraska, where he worked until ill health forced retirement in 1997.

Ronnie enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, and rifle and archery seasons. He also loved motorcycles. Ronnie passed away Friday, July 21, 2023, at his home in Richmond, Missouri, at the age of 69.

Besides his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by twin sons, Ronnie, Jr. and Tommie Eagans; siblings, Sharon Kay Kincannon, Emily Ann Parks, Marvin Ray Eagans, and Harold Dean Eagans; and brother-in-law and close friend, Donald “Duck” Stanford. Survivors include daughter, Staci (Harold) Shroyer; grandchildren, Gary Ray Johnson, Jr., Richmond, and Casey (Jeremy) Gray, Rolla, Missouri; siblings, Jim (Carma) Eagans, Rock Port, and Patti Mason, Auburn, Nebraska; sister-in-law, Peggy Eagans, Rock Port; numerous nieces and nephews; former wife, Marsha Eagans, Richmond; and fur grandbaby, Sammie Jo.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2023, at Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio. There is no visitation. Interment will be at Home Cemetery, Tarkio. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Ronnie Eagans Memorial Fund for final expenses. Online condolences may be left at www.minterfuneralchapels.com.
