The Atchison County Republican Committee will meet on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, to interview any candidates interested in seeking the appointment to serve as the Atchison County Assessor, who has resigned effective September 2, 2023. If you are interested in seeking the appointment, contact Atchison County Clerk Susette Taylor for the application to be submitted to the governor’s office and set up a time to be interviewed by the committee on the 9th. The committee will meet at the Atchison County Courthouse in the commission office.
