The Rock Port Food Pantry is low on the following items: small canned hams, complete pancake mix, syrup, deodorant, and toothbrushes.

Items can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp. The food pantry is located in the fellowship hall. The food pantry will be open  Friday, August 25, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, September 8, 5:00-6:30 p.m.

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax, Missouri, Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: boxed potatoes (au gratin, scalloped), Jello and instant puddings (small boxes), chili style beans, pasta (ramen noodles, macaroni, medium egg noodles, spaghetti), canned pasta (beefaroni, SpaghettiOs), frozen pizzas, and beef or chicken pot pies.

Monetary donations are also appreciated as the money allows the shelves to be stocked with the items that are low. Donations intended for the local food pantry need to be given directly to the pantry. For after hours donations, call 816-261-2672.

The food pantry will be open August 17, 22, and 24 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Tarkio Presbyterian Church will open the pantry in August.
