Tarkio Mayor Mark Staten was the guest speaker at the noon meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club on August 29, 2023. He expressed his thanks to the folks who worked so diligently digging to fix the broken water line and getting the water working again for Tarkio residents this past weekend. He also appreciated them avoiding the buried optic network. He noted there will be new Christmas lights on Main Street in Tarkio for the holiday season and that the Tarkio Municipal Pool needs significant work. (Submitted by Anita Sutter)
