The Atchison County Commission met Thursday, September 7, 2023. Present were: Presiding Commissioner Curtis Livengood, South District Commissioner Richard Burke, and North District Commissioner Jim Quimby. Susette Taylor, Clerk of the Commission, was attending the Missouri Clerk and Election Authority annual training.

Presiding Commissioner Livengood called the meeting to order.

Minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved.

Bills were reviewed and approved for payment.

Rhonda Wiley, Emergency Management/E-911 Director, was in to discuss department matters.

ACDC Director Monica Bailey stopped in to invite the commissioners to ACDC’s annual meeting.

A liquor license permit was reviewed by the commission for Just In Time Promotions. It was a one-day Beer & Wine Caterer License. After review, the commissioners voted unanimously to approve the application.

There being no further business, the commission adjourned.
