The Blue Jays traveled to DeKalb, Missouri, Friday, September 15, to take on the Tigers in week 4 of the season.

From the beginning this was a one-sided game. Rock Port received the ball to start the game and three offensive plays later Cade Makings threw a quick out to Dakota Evans, who went 33 yards to the end zone for the first score of the night.

On the next possession, Makings would find Corbyn Jakub on an out and up pass route for six. Corbyn would have three touchdowns and Dakota Evans would have five.

Cade Makings, Brock Holmes and Reed Miller would expand the lead by getting the extra point conversions.

Rock Port’s defense was solid all night, only allowing a couple of first downs. At halftime the Jays were up 64-0 and DeKalb opted to call it a game.

This Friday, September 22, the Jays will play South Holt for their Homecoming game.
