The intersection of I-29 and Hwy. 136 is undergoing some major changes when it comes to the business located there. The Happy Hills Gas & Coffee Company, formerly known as The Wood Shed or Walter Brothers, is now in a brand new building, going from a 1,000 square foot building to a 7,000 square foot facility. This will include a gourmet coffee shop, stone deck pizza, homemade donuts, new fueling stations for both cars and semis, and plenty of drinks and snack food for travelers. Lance and Tami Lansdown have been working hard to get everything finished up so they can get the doors open as soon as possible. No date has been given, but it was indicated that within the next couple of weeks things should be up and going. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for future updates.
