The Falls City Public Schools hosted a cross country meet Thursday, September 21, 2023, at the Falls City Country Club. Other schools competing were Rock Port, Johnson County Central, Mid-Buchanan High School, North Andrew, Pawnee City, and Weeping Water.

Lady Jay Norah Watkins won the varsity girls’ race with a time of 21:44.159.

Rock Port’s Gus Heintz placed fourth in the varsity men’s race with a time of 19:04.446.
