A new, automatic, handicap-accessible door was installed at the Tarkio Nutrition Center Tuesday, October 17, 2023. The door is operated by buttons on both the inside and outside to open the door and provide easier access to the building. The installation cost $8,800 and was paid for by the following: an ACDC grant, the Slo-Rollers, Westboro Methodist Church, First Baptist Church, Gordon VanGundy Memorial, Larry Hicks Memorial, Beverly Gibbons Memorial, bake sale donations, and anonymous donations.
