The East Atchison Lady Wolves golf team held the annual awards banquet Wednesday, December 13, 2023, in the Tarkio Elementary Library. The girls finished the year by placing second in the Class 1 Missouri State High School Activities Association State Girls Golf Championship.

Senior Alex Barnett was recognized for her sixth place, All-State finish. She had a fantastic season and received the MVP Award.

Junior Sydnee Bruns also had a very successful season and was recognized for her 13th place, All-State finish. She was presented with the Indian Award.

Junior Kamryn Brown was a first time state qualifier this year. She was presented with the Wolf Award.

Amelia Larson and Jillian Hannah were both new to the team this year, but helped tremendously. Amelia added a trip to state to her resumé as well as winning the Most Improved Player Award. Both received letters.

Beth Clark rounded out the team as the JV player this year.
