Left undetected over time, high blood pressure can lead to heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, vision loss, kidney disease or failure, and many other significant health issues. Community Hospital-Fairfax staff are hitting the road to take 1,000 blood pressures across Atchison, Nodaway, and Holt counties. CH-F staff members will be posted at nine different locations across the Community Hospital-Fairfax service area. The schedule is as follows: January 29, 2024, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., West Nodaway High School; February 6, 2024, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Rock Port High School; February 9, 2024, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., South Holt High School; February 9, 2024, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Mound City High School; February 9, 2024, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m., Tarkio Activities Center; February 13, 2024, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Tarkio Nutrition Center; February 14, 2024, 9:00 – 11:00 a.m., Communty Hospital-Fairfax; February 21, 2024, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Rock Port Nutrition Center; February 28, 2024, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., Mound City Nutrition Center
