Rock Port and Watson Lenten services

Rock Port and Watson churches are joining together for evening services during Lent. The schedule includes:

February 18 – 5:00 p.m. at Rock Port UMC

February 25 – 5:00 p.m. at Watson UMC

March 3 – 5:00 p.m. at Rock Port First Lutheran Church

March 10 – 5:00 p.m. at Watson UMC

March 17 – 5:00 p.m. at Rock Port First Lutheran Church

March 24 – 5:00 p.m. at Rock Port UMC

Everyone is invited to attend.

Joint Lenten services

Plans are underway for joint Lenten services between the Fairfax Methodist Church, Good News Church in Tarkio, and Westboro Methodist Church. The dates are Sunday, February 25, at Westboro with Pastor Brad preaching; Sunday, March 3, at Fairfax with Pastor Cathy preaching; and Sunday, March 10, at Tarkio with Pastor Brad preaching. The message series is “3 in 1: An Exploration of the Trinity . . .”

Services will begin each night at 5:00 p.m., and the host church will provide refreshments afterward. Each night’s offerings will go towards East Atchison Traveling Day Camp this summer. Everyone is invited to worship and fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ around the county.

Lenten study

Fairfax Methodist Church is offering a seven-week Lenten study. It is a study examining the last week of Jesus’ earthly life. The study met Sunday, February 4, and will continue to meet Tuesdays starting Tuesday, February 13, with the final night on Tuesday, March 26, meeting each night at 6:30 p.m. (There will be no study on February 20.)
