The Rock Port Concert Band will present a concert at 6:00 p.m. at the Liberty Theatre inside the Memorial Building in Rock Port Wednesday, March 6. This concert is in fulfillment for Mrs. Abby Palmer’s final portion of her Master’s in Music Education Degree from Central Methodist University. Come hear beautiful music by the Blue Jay Brass Quintet and the Concert Band.

District basketball is taking place this week: Tuesday, February 20 – EA boys vs. Nodaway Valley at Albany at 5:30 p.m., and Rock Port boys vs. Northeast Nodaway at Conception Junction at 5:45 p.m.; and Wednesday, February 21 – EA girls vs. Albany at Maysville at 6:00 p.m., and Rock Port girls vs. Nodaway Valley at Stanberry at 7:15 p.m.

East Atchison and Rock Port wrestlers will be competing in the MSHSAA State Wrestling Tournament this week in Columbia. Good luck to all our local competitors!

Any student three years old to sixth grade is eligible to play spring soccer in Rock Port. Forms are at the schools for you to pick up if you want your child to play. Forms are due back by Friday, February 23.
