Wilda Jean (McGuire) Schwenn, 77, of Branson West, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024. Wilda was born January 12, 1947, in Hamburg, Iowa, to Lester and Eva (Jones) McGuire.

She was raised in Tarkio, Missouri, and graduated from Tarkio schools in 1965. Wilda joined the First Baptist Church at the age of 12. On September 12, 1965, Wilda and Don Schwenn were united in marriage and Wilda joined the United Methodist Church. In 1974, she and her family moved to Springfield to start a new adventure and later moved to Willard. In 1998, Don and Wilda moved to a retirement home on the lake. What a blessing it was!

Wilda is survived by her sons, Marc Schwenn and wife, Dolores Coble, and Matthew Schwenn; grandchildren, Colton Schwenn, Dr. Chenoa Schwenn and husband, Nick Foster, Jacob Nelson and wife, Jaiden, and Levi Nelson; siblings, Earlene Hicks and Gaynel Loveland; nieces and nephews; and other family and many friends.

Wilda was preceded in death by her husband, Don Schwenn; parents, Lester and Eva McGuire; brother, Larry McGuire; and sister, Debbie Closser.

Memorial services will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home, Ash Grove. A time of visitation will follow the memorial service.
