Rock Port R-II High School held its annual Academic Ceremony Friday, March 22, 2024, in the high school gym. Students and family members were invited to the ceremony to celebrate their hard work in maintaining a grade point average of 3.67 or higher.
Superintendent Dr. Bollinger welcomed everyone to the ceremony and congratulated the students on their achievements.
High School Principal Donnie Parsons introduced the guest speaker for the evening. Mrs. Shelbie (Gaines) Graham spoke with the students about her experiences and the things she wishes she had known sooner. She wanted them to know that they would always have someone rooting for them to succeed and to always be kind.
Mr. Parsons then called each student up by class to receive their academic letter.
