Judith Ann Vogt, age 83, of Council Bluffs, Iowa, passed away March 25, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Judy was born August 13, 1940, in Maryville, Missouri, to the late Fred and Helen (Hagerty) Daugherty. She graduated from Tarkio High School in Tarkio, Missouri, in 1958.

Judy married William Vogt on September 13, 1959, in Council Bluffs. They were blessed with four daughters, Amy, Debbie, Patty, and Terri. Judy was a homemaker, Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher, blood donor, and was active with PTA.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Amy Marie Vogt, in 2019; and brothers, Ray (Janis) Daugherty and Keith Daugherty. Judy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Bill Vogt; daughters, Debbie, Patty, and Terri; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held Friday, March 29, 2024, at Cutler-O’Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Interment was held at Fairview Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to: Nebraska’s Animal Loving Advocates, 1511 South 172nd St., Omaha, NE 68130.
