Teresa Kay McCarthy passed away February 23, 2024. She was born December 21, 1947, to Walter and Edith Jackson in Tarkio, Missouri. In 1967, she was united in marriage to William C. Luellen. Two children were born to this union. They later divorced. In 1998, she was united in marriage to Robert McCarthy and gained two new sons, Sean and Scotty McCarthy.

Teresa worked at The Walnut Factory in Fairfax, Missouri, and she went on to work several years at Talbot Wire in Neosho, Missouri, until health issues forced her into retirement.

Her pride and joy were her grandkids and great-grandkids. Great-grandson Austin was her right hand man and she would have been lost without him. Another pride and joy were her two dogs, Sissy and Bella.

Teresa was preceded in death by both of her parents; husband, Bob; brother, Kenneth Jackson; three sisters, Beverly Gibbons, Carol Jackson, and Mary Frances Long; and three nieces. She leaves behind numerous loved ones including sons, BJ (Doreen) Luellen, of the home, and Shawn Stillions (Richard), Chouteau, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Amber Luellen, Ashlai Luellen, Katherine Anderson, and Philip Anderson; stepsons, Sean and Scotty; 14 great-grandchildren; one sister, Faith Eyman; and a load of nieces and nephews who will always dearly call her “Crazy Aunt Teresa,” which she answered happily.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, June 8, in her hometown area, North Missouri.
