
Veronica Holecek, the daughter of Ronald “Pete” Joe Hall and Tracy (Murr) Hall, was born December 20, 1980, in Audubon, Iowa. She attended Craig High School, Craig, Missouri, graduating in 1999.
In 2001, Veronica was united in marriage to John Holecek, and they became the parents of three children, Kayden, Carter, and Camryn. They later divorced. Later, she met her companion, Bill Hobin.
Veronica was employed by Hardee’s and Trail’s End, Rock Port, Missouri, as a waitress, and as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant at Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care. She later was employed as a bartender before being employed by Atchison County HyVee, Tarkio, as a Produce Manager.
Veronica enjoyed cooking, attending her children’s sporting events, and spending time with friends and family. She passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Community Hospital-Fairfax, Fairfax, Missouri, at the age of 43.
Veronica was preceded in death by brother, Kayenne Hall; and grandparents, Jerry (Mary) Murr and Richard (Connie) Hall. Survivors include children, Kayden (Shelbey Morris) Holecek, Mound City, Missouri, Carter Holecek, Tarkio, and Cami (Tessa Jordan) Holecek, Farragut, Iowa, and Kolbe, Kilea, and Kaden Cooper; granddaughter, Mildred Holecek; parents, Pete Hall, Corning, Missouri, and Tracy Hall, Fairfax, Missouri; siblings, Summer (Josh Frix) Hall, Rock Port, and Timbre (Jeff) Linhart, Omaha, Nebraska; nieces, Carsyn, Caisyn, and Evelynn; honorary sister, Ruth Campbell; and special friends, Bobby Wallace and the Wallace family.
A memorial service was held Friday, April 26, 2024, at Minter Funeral Chapel, Rock Port, conducted by Rev. Glenn Scott. Inurnment was at Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port.
