The Tarkio 6th through 12th grade band and choir students performed a spring concert for family and friends in the Tarkio High School Auditorium Thursday, May 2, 2024.
The 6th grade band performed “Bells!,” “Prehistoric Suite,” and “Quicksilver March.” Band members include: flute – Olivia Searl; clarinets – Brynna Alsup, Ea England, Saphira Hegstrom, Viktorya Hogue, and Mikayla Windham; saxophones – BrodyAnderson, Tucker Hurst, and Brynleigh Lopez; French horn – Andrew Romesser; trumpets – Ava Brown, Drew Cowan, Quad Klosek, and Landon Scott; tuba – Landon Driskell; and percussion – Tristan Burke, Skyla Holtz, and Julian Jimenez.

Recent donations to the music department include a grand piano donated by Dennis and Yoli Erickson and $10,000 donated by the Tarkio Rotary Club which was used to purchase a new sousaphone, marching baritones, and a marimba.
