The Tarkio High School Class of 2024 was honored at a baccalaureate service held at Westboro Methodist Church in Westboro, Missouri, Wednesday evening, May 8, 2024. The students honored include: Jamie Alexandra Barnett, Alexis Taylor Bywater, Caiden Eugene Caudill, Taylor James Doyle, Dalaynie Dawn Drummond, Jozee LaLayne Eaton, Drew Ricky William Johnson, Weston James Klosek, Mary Emerson Laur, Claire Jacqueline Martin, Tommi Lee Renee Martin, Shelby Alan McNaughton, Hailey Jae Morton, Linkin Alexander Murry, RayLeigh Nicole Nance, Addison Leigh Noland, Jersi Layne Poppa, Garret Irvin Rosenbohm, Ian James Stepp, Emma Jane Alexcia Viets, and Brooklyn Kendall Wennihan.

The program began with a prelude played on the piano by Sid Cooper. Reverend Cathy Riggins welcomed all in attendance. Everyone sang “The Spirit Song.” Opening scriptures were presented by Alexis Bywater, who read Psalm 25. The Tarkio High School Choir sang “’Til The Stars Fall From The Sky” and “You’ll Always Be A Part Of Me.” Addison Noland gave a scripture reading from Ecclesaistes 3. Counselor Hayston Wilson provided devotional thoughts. The congregation then sang “Jesus Loves Me.” Alex Barnett gave the closing prayer and Sid Cooper played the postlude. KJ’s provided food, Kristy Umbarger provided cake, and the Westboro Methodist Women helped serve the meal following the service.
