Kyle Driskell and Cody Gibson with Atchison-Holt Electric Cooperative recently attended Underground School at the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperative Training Center.

Kyle Driskell and Cody Gibson, employees of Atchison-Holt Electric Cooperative in Rock Port, Missouri, attended Underground School at the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperative Training Center on May 20-23, 2024, in Jefferson City. This was the final course to complete their apprenticeship. The purpose of this school is to train cooperative linemen in safe procedures while working with underground electrical lines and equipment. Instruction included underground troubleshooting, cable locating and fault finding, protective grounding, cable preparations, cable splicing and termination and proper tool usage.
