Husband and wife duo Dave and Julie Huebner, The Two Tracks, will perform at the Brownville Concert Hall July 12, 13, and 14.

The Brownville Concert Series welcomes The Two Tracks to Brownville, Nebraska. The husband and wife team of Julie and Dave Huebner write songs that draw inspiration from the rural surroundings of their home in the foothills of the Bighorn Mountains of Wyoming. The show will be in cabaret on Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, July 14, at 2:00 p.m. Sponsors are Doctors David and Nicole Kaufman.

The Huebners write songs that traverse the male and female perspective with emotional and natural images of rural American life. Julie’s driving guitar playing and Dave’s spellbinding cello playing merge perfectly. They care about lyrics, story, and the power of the song. Every arrangement is designed to fully highlight that direct connection between the song and the listener. Hailing from the eastern side of the Bighorn Mountains in Wyoming, the band has traversed the country bringing their joyful, unique sound to stages big and small, including Americanafest (Tennessee), Deadwood Jam (South Dakota), Kate Wolf Memorial Music Festival (California), MeadowGrass (Colorado), Albino Skunk Music Festival (South Carolina), Red Ants Pants Music Festival (Montana), Levitt Sioux Falls (South Dakota), LevittAMP Green Bay (Wisconsin), Millpond Music Festival (California), Schellraiser Music Festival (Nevada), Ashley for the Arts (Wisconsin), Beartrap Summer Festival (Wyoming), Sioux River Folk Festival (South Dakota), Music on the Mothership (New Mexico), Oystergrass (Wyoming), and The Lawn (Colorado). They have opened for artists such as Orville Peck, Eilen Jewell, Kitchen Dwellers, The Black Lillies, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades, and more. They recently completed their first international trip to Dubai for performances at the World Expo.

American Songwriter has this to say about The Two Tracks: “They avoid many of the cliches and gimmicks that have grown common in the Americana world while still championing a natural, Earth-grown sound. It’s pure musicianship, it’s pure excellence, it’s pure Americana.”

Tickets are $25 for adults and $16 for students. They can be purchased online at www.brownvilleconcertseries.org, on Facebook or call 402-825-3331.
