The Brownville Concert Series welcomes SoulRoot to Brownville, Nebraska. Playing all your favorites from the last six decades, SoulRoot has become one of the most requested Top 40 cover bands in Missouri. Strong vocals with spot on four-part harmonies, blazing guitar licks, and a rock-solid rhythm section is what you should expect! The show will be in cabaret Friday and Saturday, August 2 and 3, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, August 4, at 2:00 p.m. Sponsors are Lynn and Mary Stewart Lyon and Kay Rosenbohm.
Sometimes an opportunity comes along that is just too good to pass up. That is what happened when Ron Schieferdecker, Rob Frommel, Bill Roe, and John Walker got together to make some noise. After a long search, they found their missing ingredient with the addition of keyboardist/guitarist/singer Theese Weber. Focusing on the music that makes you want to get up and dance, or at the very least, makes you want to sing along, the idea is to play all your favorites in a style that only SoulRoot can deliver . . . always leaving you wanting more.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.brownvilleconcertseries.org, on Facebook, or call 402-825-3331. The Nebraska Arts Council, a state agency, supports this program through a matching grant funded by the Nebraska Legislature, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
