Kristine Gibson, Chief Development Officer at Second Harvest Community Food Bank, was the guest speaker at the July 9, 2024, meeting of the Tarkio Rotary Club. She noted that 6.7 million pounds of food are distributed in 18 counties of northwest Missouri and eastern Kansas. Second Harvest provides food to citizens who are food insecure through their programs of family, children and senior initiatives.
