On Monday, July 29, 2024, Peru State Women’s Golf Team received the Heart MUSCO Sportsmanship Award for the 2023-2024 season. The Heart of America Conference awards one plaque for each sport. The team consisted of Kelsi DeCora, Winnebago, Nebraska, Carly Johnson, Schuyler, Nebraska, Olivia McAsey, Holton, Kansas, Lara Wells, Gerard, Kansas, Chloe Clapp, Pleasant Hill, Missouri, Morgan Runyan, Lincoln, Nebraska, Maddie Kime, Clever, Missouri, and Christna Gilkerson, Falls City, Nebraska. Sue Owen, Rock Port, Missouri, is the coach.

The Bobcat women will begin practice for the fall season with two new recruits. Abby Mathis is a graduate from Atkinson, Nebraska. Alex Barnett of Tarkio, Missouri, will also join the team. Alex is the daughter of Jamie and Melody Barnett.

The Bobcat golfers compete during the fall and spring semesters. This fall, they are scheduled to play at Table Creek, Nebraska City, and Omaha, Nebraska, and Marion and Lamoni, Iowa. They will complete the fall season at the Heart Conference Preview at Nicklaus Golf Club at Lion Gate, Overland Park, Kansas.
