Tarkio Technology Institute (TTI) has announced that Caleb Kirkendall, Falls City, Nebraska, is a recipient of the Reynolds, Lade, Gilbert Scholarship. Caleb is a student in the summer welding program at TTI. This scholarship is in memory of Tarkio College football stand-out Al Reynolds (Class of 1959) and his football coaches, Bob Lade and Paul Gilbert. Caleb participated in both football and track while in high school.

TTI also announced the three recipients of the Dr. Gavin and Eleanor Doughty Scholarship for the summer welding program.  They are: Caleb Kirkendall; Zoie Rice, Tarkio, Missouri; and Nathan Mains, Bedford, Iowa. This memorial scholarship honors the numerous contributions the Doughtys made to Tarkio College and the Tarkio community.

Tarkio College alumni and local friends are welcome to remember the legacy represented by these two scholarships with a contribution mailed to Tarkio College, P.O. Box 231, Tarkio, MO 64491, designating either the Reynolds, Lade, Gilbert Scholarship or the Dr. Gavin and Eleanor Doughty Scholarship.  These scholarships go only to Tarkio Technology Institute student applicants to assist them in reaching their employment goals.
