Every single girl on the East Atchison golf team brought home a medal from the Johnson County Central Tournament in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Thursday, September 19, 2024. The East Atchison Lady Wolves traveled to Tecumseh, Nebraska, Thursday, September 19, 2024, to compete in the Johnson County Central Tournament. Once again, the Lady Wolves found success as not only did the team place 2nd overall out of nine teams with a score of 381, but every single golfer also medalled.

Sydnee Bruns placed second with a 91, tying her 18-hole personal record. Amelia Larson placed 4th with a 96, creating a new personal 9 and 18-hole record. Jillian Hannah placed seventh with a 100, creating a new personal 9 and 18-hole record. Kamryn Brown placed 11th with an 108, making a new 18-hole personal record. Savanna Lindsay placed 13th with a 114, making a new 9-hole personal record.

Playing and winning the junior varsity 9-hole tournament were: Danika Agnew, who placed 1st with a 52 and set a new PR; Star Hankins, who placed 2nd and set a new PR with a 56; and Olivia Schaefer with a 58, placing 3rd and setting a new PR.

Coaches Melody Barnett and Shannon Bruns said it was a great day of golf and they are both very proud of these girls!
