The East Atchison cross country teams hosted the Indian Run for junior high and high school runners Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at Tarkio Golf Course.

The Wolves and Lady Wolves had a fantastic day! The high school Wolves placed first as a team, followed by St. Joseph Christian in second and Bishop LeBlond in third. Three Wolves placed in the top 10 individual runners as well. East Atchison was the only high school who had enough female runners to qualify as a team. Two runners placed in the top 10 and six placed in the top 20. The Wolves junior high team had one runner who placed in the top 10. The Lady Wolves junior high team also placed first and had the top two runners as well as five runners placing in the top 10.

Rock Port runners also had a successful day. The Lady Jays had one high school runner, Norah Watkins, win first and two runners finish in the top 20. In junior high action, one boy finished in the top 10 and two finished in the top 20.
