Mrs. Kristine Price, Fairfax R-3 School art teacher, spoke at the weekly meeting of the Fairfax Optimist Club Tuesday morning at the Daybreak Cafe. She talked about the artists that she has been introducing to the students. They then work on the styles that each artist uses in class. The kiln that they use for doing pottery is not working and the kids are sad about not being able to make those projects. The club donated to the art program in hopes of helping in the children’s art education and fun. Pictured are Mrs. Price, left, and Optimist Club member Roger Martin, right. (Submitted by Sam O’Riley)
