Lady Wolves compete in Albany Best Shot Tournament
Girls golf travelled to Albany, Missouri, Monday, September 23, 2024, to compete in a Best Shot Tourna-ment. The girls were divided into pairs and a couple girls brought home some hardware. All competitors enjoyed a beautiful day of golf!
Individual results are: Sydnee Bruns and Amelia Larson shot an 87 for 2nd place; Kamryn Brown and Danika Agnew shot a 98; and Jillian Hannah and Savanna Lindsay shot a 106.
EA golfers win Mound City match
The East Atchison Lady Wolves golf team traveled to Mound City, Missouri, Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
The Lady Wolves won with a team score of 200 over Mound City’s 256. Lady Wolf Amelia Larson was the match medalist with a 45. Other EA individual results are: Sydnee Bruns – 46, Kamryn Brown – 49, Olivia Schaefer – 53 (a new personal record), Danika Agnew – 60, Savanna Lindsay – 67, Star Hankins – 66, and Jillian Hannah – 68.

The East Atchison girls’ golf team hosted a tournament Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Tarkio Golf Course. The Lady Wolves took second place with a 413 behind Worth County’s 403.
The top five golfers received individual medals: match medalist – Marissa Schmitz (Worth County), 93; 2nd – Sydnee Bruns (EA), 95; 3rd – Ava Luna (Mound City), 98; 4th – Bridgette Lightshoe (Worth County), 100 (tie); and 5th, Eva Engal (Worth County), 100 (tie). Lady Wolf Amelia Larson also tied with a score of 100, but lost in the card off.
Other EA scores include: Kamryn Brown – 103, Jillian Hannah – 124, Danika Agnew – 109 (JV top score and PR for 18 holes), Star Hankins – 115 (PR for 18 holes), Savanna Lindsay – 118 (9-hole PR of 53), and Olivia Schaefer – 126 (PR for 18 holes).
Rock Port scores include: Landrey Kelly – 106, Karlie Gebhards – 108, Hadleigh Jones – 114, Payten Shrader – 116, and Emma Teten – 220.
