It was a gorgeous fall day for the Tarkio Halloween Parade and Trunk-or-Treat Sunday, October 27, 2024. Hosted by the Tarkio Parks & Recreation board, this year’s event was held on the Tarkio Tech campus, with around 200 people in attendance.

 

The babies who placed in the Birth to 1 Year category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Goldie Graves (with mother Ellie Graves) and 2nd place Bryker Currie (with mother Ashley Currie).

 

The toddlers who placed in the 1 to 3 Year category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place August Hughes, 2nd place Martin Driskell (with mother Courtney Driskell), and 3rd place Lane Shaw (with mother Brianna Shaw).

 

The youngsters who placed in the 3 to 5 Year category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Florence Sutter, 2nd place Stevie Pierce, and 3rd place Kyzer Loper.

 

The kiddos who placed in the Kindergarten to 1st Grade category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Gabe Milla, 2nd place Bristol Sutter, and 3rd place Leevi Driskell.

 

The children who placed in the 2nd to 3rd Grade category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Haven Hogue, 2nd place Dallas Slemp, and 3rd place Emmit Crouse.

 

The kids who placed in the 4th and 5th Grade category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Leslie Rose, 2nd place Clark Wood, and 3rd place Myla Stone.

 

The 6th to 8th grade winners of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Mikayla Smith, 2nd place Koralyne Milla, and 3rd place Faith Bennett.

 

The High School to Adult winners of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Dezzy Kimpston, 2nd place Tyler Inman, and 3rd place Lynda Kimpston.

 

Those placing in the Couples category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Crew and Cooper Martin, 3rd place Brea and Cane Stanton (with mother Rachel Stanton), and 2nd place Rory and Walt Lambertsen.

 

Those placing in the Group category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Grant and Ryan Sanders, 2nd place Jamie, Ethan, Simon, and Robbi Piveral, and 3rd place Tucker and Kash Wheeler and Idabella Klosek.

 

Dogs who placed in the Pets category of the Tarkio Halloween Parade were 1st place Rocket Kopetka (held by Brooke Kopetka), 2nd place Gidget McCartney (held by Martha McCartney), and 3rd place Lucy McCartney (held by Shelby McCartney).
