Frank William Schupp, the son of John William and Marie Francis (Ulmer) Schupp, was born June 12, 1942, in Sedalia, Missouri. He attended Sheridan High School, graduating in 1961.
On July 5, 1961, Frank entered the United States Marine Corps and served his country. He received his honorable discharge on July 2, 1964. Frank then attended barber school in Kansas City, Missouri.
On August 15, 1965, Frank was united in marriage to Sharon L. Porter. They made their home in Tarkio, Missouri, and became the parents of two sons, John and Mitch. In 1966, Frank worked in Maryville, Missouri, as a barber for two years before owning and operating Schupp’s Barber Shop, Tarkio, in 1968. He served as a barber for 53 years, retiring in April of 2021.
Frank was a member of the Masonic Lodge #66, Grant City, Missouri. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family. Frank passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, in Omaha, Nebraska, at the age of 82.
Besides his parents, Frank was preceded in death by sister, Betty Constant; and niece, Diane Troutwine. Survivors include wife, Sharon Schupp, Tarkio; sons, John (Christi) Schupp, Ozark, Missouri, and Mitch (Nicole) Schupp, Walnut Shade, Missouri; grandchildren, Trinity, Brady, Kateryna, Maryna, and Seraphyna; and numerous nieces, great-nieces, and nephews.
Graveside service and inurnment will be at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Home Cemetery, Tarkio. There is no scheduled visitation.
