ACDC hosted a professionalism workshop for Atchison County juniors on Thursday, November 7, at the Tarkio Activity Center to talk about different job opportunities in the county and how to be a good employee in a variety of situations. Taya Jones with Lola’s Paw Spa in Rock Port talked about the joys of being your own boss and running a business in the town she grew up in.

 

Lori Seymour with Midwest Data Center of Rock Port talked about working in customer service and some of the situations she and others in that role have faced and how to handle them professionally.

 

Atchison County Library Director Jennifer Roup spoke to Atchison County juniors about keeping a clean profile online as most potential employers will research interviewees.
