Twenty Rock Port High School band members traveled to Maryville, Missouri, Wednesday, November 20, 2024, to participate in the 275 Conference Band Day. Led by Ted Keck, retired director of the South Harrison band, the musicians practiced all day before performing a concert that evening in the Mary Linn Auditorium at the Ron Houston Performing Arts Center on the Northwest Missouri State University campus.

The 275 Conference band performed the following selections: “Backpack O’Cadences” (Conference freshmen and junior percussion) by Brooks/Crockarell; “Wrath of the Titans” by Larry Neeck; “Blue” by Robert W. Smith; “The Gladiator” by John Philip Sousa; “In Honor of the Fallen” by Barry Milner; and “Extremis” by Randall D. Standridge. Playing in the band were Rock Port’s Cooper Daugherty, Ryan Lucas, Leo Grimes, Amelia Mason, Levi Lucas, Brandon Athen, Wyatt Huntley, Lily Wilroy, Alex Schuster, Mya Welch, Kennedi Seiter, Audrey Dougherty, Anden Cohn, Sophie Storm, Eliza Mason, Lilly Pankau, Jaymes Herron, Stella VanGundy, Arianna Shimmel, and Claire Miller.
