Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry is low on the following items: saltine crackers, chewy fudge brownie mix, beef stew, small cooked hams, canned chicken, boxed scalloped potatoes, traditional pasta sauce, pasta (elbow and spaghetti), canned carrots, canned pears, strawberry jelly, and creamy peanut butter.

The food pantry will be open: Friday, December 27, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, January 7, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; Friday, January 10, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, January 21, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, January 24, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Donations are welcome. Items can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and placed in the shopping cart. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 164, Rock Port, MO 64482. If you would like to volunteer, contact Rebecca Liess at 660-253-3535.

Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: apple juice (64 oz.), cake mixes (chocolate or white), beef and chicken broth (14.5 oz can), creamy peanut butter (16 oz.), boxed macaroni and cheese, Tuna Helper, tomatoes (diced, diced chili ready, tomato sauce, rotel), ground beef (1 lb. pkg.), and laundry detergent.

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church will open the pantry January 21, 23, 28, and 30.

If schools are closed due to inclement weather, the food pantry is also closed. If the schools experience a two-hour delay, the food pantry will also delay opening until 10:00 a.m. and will stay open until 12:00 noon.

The food pantry is located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio, Missouri.
