Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Ministerial Alliance Food Pantry is low on the following items: saltine crackers, chewy fudge brownie mix, beef stew, small cooked hams, canned chicken, boxed scalloped potatoes, traditional pasta sauce, pasta (elbow and spaghetti), canned carrots, canned pears, strawberry jelly, and creamy peanut butter.

The food pantry will be open: Tuesday, January 7, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; Friday, January 10, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, January 21, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, January 24, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Donations are welcome. Items can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and placed in the shopping cart. Monetary donations may be mailed to the Rock Port Ministerial Alliance, P.O. Box 164, Rock Port, MO 64482. If you would like to volunteer, contact Rebecca Liess at 660-253-3535.

Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: tomato juice (46 oz. can), saltine crackers, brownie mix, flour (5 lbs.), sugar (5 lbs.), boxed potatoes (au gratin, scalloped), jello and instant puddings (small boxes), vegetables (15 oz. – canned potatoes, cut green beans, French style green beans, mixed vegetables, whole kernel corn, cream style corn, peas, carrots, kraut), pork & beans, chili style beans, pasta (ramen noodles, macaroni, medium egg noodles, spaghetti), and canned pasta (beefaroni, SpaghettiOs).

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church will open the pantry January 21, 23, 28, and 30.

If schools are closed due to inclement weather, the food pantry is also closed. If the schools experience a two-hour delay, the food pantry will also delay opening until 10:00 a.m. and will stay open until 12:00 noon.

The food pantry is located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio, Missouri.
