Kay Diane Green, the daughter of Harry Conrad and Lois (Swalley) Naico, was born December 7, 1946, in Essex, Iowa. She attended Essex High School, graduating in 1964.

In September of 1991, Kay was united in marriage to Roger Green at the Fairfax Christian Church, Fairfax, Missouri, and he became father to William “Dewey” King and Taylor Green.

Kay was employed by Excel Beef Packing Plant, Phelps City, Missouri. She then became a homemaker, helping Roger with their family. Kay enjoyed going to flea markets and looking for antique sales. Kay passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025, at her home in Tarkio, Missouri, at the age of 78.

Besides her parents, Kay was preceded in death by daughter, Taylor Green-Sillers; and siblings, Marilyn Naico, Bob (Betty) Naico, Donald Naico, Jim (Sharan) Naico, Jerry Naico, and Joe (Mary) Naico. Survivors include husband, Roger Green, Tarkio; son, William “Dewey” (Nicole Counts) King, Tarkio; grandchildren, Jetta (Dylan) Jeffords, Maryville, Missouri, Zack King, Tarkio, and Carsyn Green, St. Joseph, Missouri; great-granddaughter, Isla Jean Jeffords; siblings, Judy (Boyd) Tracy, Donna Roop, and Kenneth (Dixie) Naico; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private family celebration of life and inurnment will be held at a later date. There is no visitation. Memorials may be directed to the Kay Green Memorial Fund.
