Left undetected over time, high blood pressure can lead to heart attacks, strokes, heart failure, vision loss, kidney disease or failure, and many other significant health issues. Community Hospital-Fairfax staff are hitting the road to take 1,000 blood pressures across Atchison, Nodaway, and Holt counties. CH-F staff members will be posted at nine different locations across the Community Hospital-Fairfax service area. The schedule is as follows:
• February 4, 2025, Rock Port High School, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• February 7, 2025, Fairfax High School, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• February 7, 2025, West Nodaway High School, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• February 7, 2025, Mound City High School, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• February 13, 2025, South Holt High School, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
• February 14, 2025, Community Hospital-Fairfax, 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
• February 18, 2025, Tarkio Nutrition Center, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• February 20, 2025, Mound City Nutrition Center, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• February 26, 2025, Rock Port Senior Center, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
