Caroline Larson, Fairfax, performed a piano solo in the NWMSU Junior High School Music Festival.
The NWMSU Junior High School Music Festival was held Saturday, February 15. Musicians were rated superior, excellent, and good.
Caroline Larson of Fairfax, who attends Missouri Virtual Academy, performed a piano solo and received an excellent rating. Suzanne Southard is Caroline’s piano teacher.
Mrs. Abby Palmer is the director of the Rock Port students. Richard Boettner was accompanist. Individual results for the Rock Port students are as follows:
Superior ratings – Jadyn Jakub, baritone solo; Isabella Kroeger, trumpet solo; Elaina Kroeger, baritone solo; Zeke Gebhards, snare solo; Briar Daugherty, snare solo; Jack Bailey, trombone solo; Isaac Dougherty, trumpet solo; Lane Seeley, trombone solo; Nella Steuter, clarinet solo; Taylor Cook, clarinet solo; Mason Hale, alto sax solo; and Caisyn Hall, flute solo.
Excellent ratings – Katelynn Rouse, vocal and clarinet solos; Maddie Wilroy, clarinet solo; Jolie Steuter, timpani solo; Anthony Masonbrink, timpani solo; and Jaxson Hale, woodblock solo.
Good rating – Deveni Barth, snare solo.
