Betty “Jane” Bragg, 94, of Burlington Junction, Missouri, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at the Maryville Living Center in Maryville, Missouri.

Jane was born April 30, 1930, in Shenandoah, Iowa, to Floyd and Sadie (Clark) Mutchler. She was a graduate of Shenandoah High School and had worked for Eddies Market, NEBS, Union Carbide (Every Ready) in Maryville. She was a member of the Burlington Junction Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary Rolla Dicks Unit #315. She had volunteered on the Rescue Squad, Camp Quality, and the Veterans Hospital in Leavenworth, Kansas.

She married Charles W. Bragg on October 16, 1949, in Shenandoah. He preceded her in death on April 29, 2016. She was also preceded by her parents, three brothers and seven sisters, Wayne, Earl and Tully Mutchler, Ruth Worley, Ersie Graham, Alberta Carper, Grace Reitz, Marlene Ross, Alice Erickson, and Imogene Moore; two brothers-in-law, Robert and Harold Bragg, and sister-in-law, Doris Porterfield. Jane is survived by several nieces, nephews, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 3, at the Ohio Cemetery in Burlington Junction, under the care of Price Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, March 2, at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Camp Quality or American Legion Auxiliary Rolla Dicks Unit #315.
