Learn about cyber dangers and scams at two free events led by JR Chaney Tuesday, March 4, at 10:00 a.m. at the Tarkio Nutrition Center and 6:00 p.m. at the Rotary Theatre, located inside the Curnutt Center on the Tarkio Tech campus.

Tarkio Elementary will host its Spring Book Fair in the elementary library Monday, March 3, through 8:00 a.m. Friday, March 7. Scholastic now offers an online shopping option as well at https://www.scholastic.com/bf/tarkioelementaryschool1 (click “Shop Now”). The online fair can also be accessed through the Tarkio R-I webpage. The online fair opens officially on March 3 and runs through March 16.

Spring temperatures have arrived with Monday’s temps reaching the mid-60s. Although we know we aren’t out of the winter woods yet, it’s nice to feel the warmth and sunshine while we can.
