Dean Sparks, president of the board of Tarkio Technology Institute, noted that January 5, 2025, was the fifth anniversary of Tarkio Tech’s opening. The school has 41 students this year. There have been 50 graduates from the welding program in the five years that they have been in operation. There are 16 members on the Tarkio Tech governing board that meets on a monthly basis.
