The Missouri Department of Conservation will hold a Hunter Education Skills session Saturday, April 5, 2025, at Northwest Tech School, 1515 S. Munn, in Maryville, Missouri. The session will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last up to four hours, depending on the number of students attending. Most of the classroom topics will pertain to Missouri-specific regulations and issues that are not covered in this online course.

After passing the online portion of the Missouri Department of Conservation Hunting education course, youth ages 11-15 are required to sign up for the required Hunter Education Skills Session.

Attendees must bring their Hunter Education Online Course Completion certificate to the Hunter Education Skills Session as proof of having completed the online course.

Passing the online course does not guarantee you a spot at the Hunter Education Skills Session.

After attending and passing the Hunter Education Skills Session portion of the hunting education requirement, hunters will receive their Conservation Permit Card.
